Event Learning Objectives
- Describe the EMDRIA Definition of EMDR therapy and explain how it provides a foundation for integrating play therapy methods.
- Explain how trauma shapes nervous system adaptations and describe how play therapy supports regulation in children and adolescents.
- Utilize play therapy methods to externalize target imagery and enhance client engagement during assessment and preparation for desensitization.
- Identify how play therapy applications align with EMDRIA standards and explain strategies for maintaining fidelity while using creative methods.
- Develop an individualized plan to sustain fidelity to EMDR while weaving in play therapy and expressive arts methods into ongoing clinical work.
Policies
Policies for EMDR Advanced Training
Eligibility and Credit
This advanced training is for EMDRIA EMDR-trained clinicians. Licensed and pre-licensed providers may attend. Graduate interns may attend with supervisor approval. Eligibility for EMDRIA Credits is restricted to participants who have completed an EMDRIA Approved Basic EMDR Training. No exceptions.
Attendance and Participation
Full attendance is required to earn CE credit. No partial credit will be awarded. For live online sessions, cameras must remain on and your name must match your registration.
Completion and Certificates
Credit is awarded only after verified full attendance and completion of the evaluation in CE-Go. Certificates unlock in the attendee dashboard once requirements are met.
Accessibility and Accommodations
Reasonable accommodations are available. Please email requests at least 14 days before Day One. A written plan will be confirmed prior to the event.
Grievance and Complaints
If a grievance arises pertaining to continuing education activities or processes, please contact Tyler Gibson via confidential email to tyler@celearningsystems.com as soon as possible, so that the nature of the concern may be addressed in a timely fashion.
Cancellation and Refunds
All registrations are final. No refunds for any reason. If the provider cancels or reschedules, liability is limited to a tuition refund or one transfer to a future offering. Travel and lodging are not reimbursed.
Transfers and Substitutions
You may transfer your seat to one eligible substitute you secure. Written transfer requests must be submitted no later than 21 days before Day One. No transfers will be accepted after that deadline. A $75 administrative fee applies. The substitute must meet all eligibility requirements.
Inclement Weather and Force Majeure
If conditions beyond our control require modification, postponement, or format change, you will be offered a seat in the rescheduled program or a tuition refund. No other damages will be available.
Technology Requirements (for Live Online)
Reliable internet, Zoom client, webcam, and microphone are required. Closed captions are available through Zoom settings. Contact us before Day One if you need support.
Commercial Support and Disclosures
Presenters will disclose all relevant financial relationships. No ineligible company has provided commercial support. Disclosures are posted on the CE-Go landing page.
Marketing and CE Compliance
All marketing directs learners to the CE-Go landing page for board-required details. Sales of presenter products are not bundled with registration.
Recording and Confidentiality
Personal recording by attendees is prohibited. Training media may include case examples. All client material must be de-identified. Session recordings will not be released to attendees unless explicitly stated.
Intellectual Property and Materials
Slides and handouts are for personal professional use only. Do not copy, share, or publish without written permission.
Code of Conduct and Non-Discrimination
We provide a respectful, inclusive environment. Harassment, disruptive behavior, or discriminatory conduct may result in removal without refund.
Privacy and Data Protection
We protect participant information collected during registration and completion. Data is never sold. Contact us to request corrections.
Payment and Chargebacks
Disputed payments or chargebacks do not void these policies. A $150 administrative fee applies to any chargeback, and your registration may be canceled.
Media Consent
We may capture non-identifying images of the learning environment. If you prefer not to appear in photos, notify staff in writing before Day One.
Session Changes and Faculty Substitutions
Content and faculty are subject to change. Substitutions may occur without notice when necessary.

This training references EMDR therapy as defined by EMDRIA and play therapy methods consistent with APT guidelines. All case material will be de-identified to protect confidentiality.
Participation in this training does not guarantee competency in EMDR or play therapy. Participants are responsible for practicing within the scope of their license, training, and supervision.
