EMDR Therapy Basic Training
Hi there, I’m Jackie.
If you’re a clinician seeking a more effective way to truly help your clients heal and feeling limited by your current approaches and tools, you’ve come to the right place. Learning EMDR therapy will empower you to confidently address even the most complex trauma cases. With the right knowledge, support, and skills, you’ll provide healing that goes beyond words, creating profound and lasting change in your clients’ lives.
Do You Need a More Robust Approach in Your Clinical Practice?
Do you ever feel like you could do more to truly help your clients heal? Many clients, deeply wounded by the impacts of trauma, need an approach that reaches beyond words. They need a therapeutic experience that touches the depths of what is trapped in the body—sometimes before the brain could even form memories in words. The nervous system integrates psychological material much like the digestive system processes food, and both need help when things get stuck to regain peace and improve quality of life. If you've ever wondered whether you have the right tools to make a deeper impact, you're not alone. That's exactly what led me to EMDR—it completely changed the way I approach therapy. It didn’t just add credentials to my curriculum vitae, it empowered me to truly help my clients experience deep healing, even with the most painful and challenging trauma histories.
What You’ll Learn in EMDR Basic Training
In five days, you’ll gain a solid understanding of how to use EMDR with adult clients, with an emphasis on safety, fidelity to the model, and practical application. Half of the training is hands-on practicum, so come ready to learn experientially. We’ll cover the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, explaining how the brain heals from trauma, and guide you through the 8 Phases of EMDR therapy, from start to finish.
Guidance Every Step of the Way
Held in beautiful Greenwood Village, CO, this training combines hands-on practice, discussions, and personalized feedback.
