1. Eligibility Requirements

1.1 Eligibility Confirmation
Applicants must confirm their eligibility prior to registration and payment.
If an applicant is found to be ineligible after registration, their seat will be canceled, and a refund will be issued minus a $100 non-refundable administrative fee.
1.2 EMDR Training Eligibility
1.2.1 Licensed Mental Health Professionals
Medical Doctors (MDs): Must be licensed to practice psychiatry in their jurisdiction.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs): Must have a Master of Science in Nursing (or higher) with a specialization in psychiatric mental health nursing.
Mental Health Clinicians: Must hold a master’s degree or higher in counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, psychiatry, or social work and be licensed to practice.
Individuals with Chemical Dependency/Substance Abuse Licenses: Not eligible unless they hold an additional mental health license.
1.2.2 Pre-Licensed Mental Health Professionals
Must have a master's degree in a mental health field and be actively pursuing full licensure under a licensed supervisor.
Chemical dependency/substance abuse licenses alone do not qualify.
1.2.3 Graduate Students
Must be enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program in a mental health field.
Must have completed core coursework and be in the practicum/internship portion of their program.
First-year graduate students are not eligible.
Must submit required documentation, including a letter from their supervisor.
1.3 Consultant Eligibility Requirements
Must be fully licensed as an LMHC, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LP, Psychiatrist, or Psychiatric Nurse.
Must have a master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field.
Must work at the same agency as the applicant or meet other EMDRIA-approved supervision criteria.
2. EMDR Training Overview
2.1 Course Structure
20 hours of lecture
20 hours of practicum
10 hours of consultation
Participants must complete the training within one year to meet EMDRIA standards.
2.2 Attendance Policy
Full attendance is required.
Participants must attend in a confidential, distraction-free space.
Participation from a vehicle or public space is not allowed.
Violations may result in removal without a refund.
2.3 Virtual Training Guidelines
A stable internet connection, camera, and microphone are required.
Participants must remain visible on camera throughout the training.
Recording of any session is strictly prohibited.
Participants must use headphones to maintain confidentiality.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
3.1 Standard Refund Policy
45+ days before training: Partial refund minus a $250 non-refundable administrative fee.
Less than 45 days before training: No refund unless the seat is filled. If filled, a refund will be issued minus a $250 administrative fee.
No refunds after training begins.
Refund requests for medical emergencies or extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the training provider. Documentation may be required.
3.2 Missed Training Costs
Missed Lecture: $45 per hour. Missing more than 2 hours requires a cohort change.
Missed Practicum: $45 per hour. Missing more than 1 hour requires a cohort change.
Missed Consultation Group: $45 per hour. Arriving more than 10 minutes late requires attendance in a makeup group.
3.3 Change of Cohort & Withdrawal
Cohort Change:
More than 3 weeks’ notice: First change is free; subsequent changes incur a $50 fee.
Less than 3 weeks’ notice: $250 fee applies.
Withdrawal:
More than 3 weeks’ notice: Refund minus a $50 fee.
Less than 3 weeks’ notice: $400 fee, with a refund of the remaining balance.
3.4 Emergency Situations
Technical issues on the participant’s end do not qualify for a refund.
For documented emergencies, contact us immediately for alternative solutions.
4. Grievance Policy
Issues should be reported during training for resolution.
Formal grievances must be submitted in writing.
We will respond within 10 business days.
5. Professional Conduct Policy
Participants must uphold professional and ethical behavior. Violations may result in immediate removal without refund, including:
Harassment or disruptive behavior.
Failure to follow training guidelines.
Violations of confidentiality.
Use of alcohol or illicit substances during training.
6. Liability & Assumption of Risk
EMDR and Play Therapy Integration Support is not liable for technical issues, personal distress, or indirect damages.
Participants assume full responsibility for their well-being and engagement in training activities.
The provider is not responsible for ensuring participant comprehension beyond the curriculum.
7. Dispute Resolution & Legal Considerations
All disputes will be resolved through mediation or binding arbitration in Florida, per Florida laws.
Force Majeure Clause: We are not responsible for cancellations or disruptions due to:
Natural disasters
Technical failures
Pandemics or public health emergencies
Government-mandated restrictions
In such cases, efforts will be made to reschedule the training, but refunds are not guaranteed.
8. Accommodations
